My Nuclear REFUEL Act unanimously passed out of committee!

🚨 My Nuclear REFUEL Act unanimously passed out of committee!🚨 We can't ignore the importance of building new nuclear energy. But we also need a real plan for nuclear waste. Decommissioned plants like San Onofre just outside San Diego show why this matters, as spent fuel poses a contamination risk to our communities, ecosystems, and oceans. My bipartisan Nuclear REFUEL Act solves this, and will help us put nuclear waste to safe use, for good.
